Plot + Learn is a Latino-owned consulting practice led by Alberto Espinoza. He brings more than a decade of experience supporting networks, funders, coalitions, and mission-driven organizations in strengthening systems for collaboration, data use, learning, and collective impact. Alberto has extensive experience at the intersection of evaluation, knowledge management, digital transformation, and network capacity-building.

Most recently he served as Knowledge and Learning Manager at PEAK Grantmaking, where he guided programs and data strategies across a national network of more than 500 grantmaking organizations and 8,000+ grants professionals. His leadership includes designing user-centered digital learning management infrastructures, implementing the Equitable Evaluation Framework, and facilitating co-designed program frameworks and evaluation systems with volunteer advisors and cross-functional teams.

Alberto brings a strong track record of facilitating systems-level change and multi-stakeholder collaboration. At the Valley Baptist Legacy Foundation, he provided evaluation leadership across regional health programs, contributed to collective impact initiatives such as Unidos Contra la Diabetes, and managed a $74 million grants portfolio that supported healthcare research, delivery, and social determinants of health. Alberto has direct experience supporting binational entrepreneurship. As a small business advisor in South Texas, he advised and trained Mexican nationals seeking to start businesses in the United States, offering one-on-one Spanish-language technical assistance, developing business plans, and conducting on-site consultations to support successful launches.
